The Best Spice Hot Drinks for the cozy season.

Spice Hot Drinks Season

My favorites Spice Hot Drinks recipes, easy to realize in few easy steps and perfect to be tasted under a cozy blanket but also as a good partner during your fall – winter working from home.

This is the best season for Spice Hot Drinks. Scent of cinnamon and fluffy milk alla around, big cozy mugs and a few moments to take away from stressful days just sipping your favorite drink.

They have always been my passion, even before they became fashioned, before Instagram and Pinterest, before we began to love food much more for the aesthetics than for its taste. But, let’s be honest, there are some of them that I wouldn’t have discovered without this crazy digital world.

American coffee is my big love but I love it even more if I can have it with a lot of milk and less coffee. I love big mugs to be hold while cinnamon scent goes all over the house, in front of a fireplace, on a cozy sofa but also while working at the computer. It’s a guilty pleasure that I always indulge myself in, since it is healthy enough for my diet periods but so yummy at the same time.

In the years, I’ve tried lots of Spice Hot Drinks, sometimes following famous recipes and sometimes adapting them to my taste.

Here you are some of my favorites:

1. Honey Bee Latte

If you love honey, its definitely your hot drink.

I’ve discovered the name of this one only recently, even if I was used to drink it since always, but since it actually has such a cute name I’ve started calling it in the proper way immediately. It’s so easy that i’m sure you’ve already drunk it too, without knowing the name.

It’s the one that I make myself almost every night, when i want some after dinner cuddles. Plus I’ve convinced myself that it’s a good healthy habit, since Honey and Turmeric (my personal touch to the original recipe) are good against seasonal illness.

If you love honey it is your hot drink for sure. Try it also with my personal touch.

  • Add coffee and mix together.
  • Add hot milk with foam and mix again.
  • If you like it, you can add my personal touch: a pinch on turmeric at the end on the top.

2. Cinnamon Dolce Latte

It has become my new big love, recently. Easier that than the famous Pumpkin Spice latte but so good as well. With that cinnamon scent that is perfect both for autumn drinks and for Christmas ones, but also for all winter long coziness on those foggy and freezing January days.

We love maple syrup since we use it on Sunday Pancakes, so we always have it at our disposal, but trust me if you haven’t you should take a small bottle and give this hot drink a try. The bittersweet taste of the maple sirup gives to the drink such an interesting twist, that you will love for sure.

The perfect easier alternative to the most famous pumpkin spice latte. Love it in autumn but especially on Christmas time.

  • Add coffee and mix again

3. Pumpkin Spice Latte

One of my favorite Spice Hot drinks for autumn season that I usually drink at Starbucks and I have to admit that I’m not so used to cook it at home since it takes a little while. Anyway when I’ve decided to realize it by myself the results always made me happy. The worst part its just to prepare the pumpkin (since here in Italy we are not used to buy pumpkin in tin also because its not easy to find that way), so the best way is this: when I cook some meal with pumpkin I do some more of it and I keep it for my beloved drink.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Probably the most famous recipe that each one of us has always drunk at Sturbucks. Here in an easy homemade version with the precooked pumpkin.

4. Chai Latte

When I was a child my breakfast drink has always been tea, then in the years I’ve stopped drinking it for a while and I’ve began again drinking it lately, probably also thanks to Chai Latte.

I have to admit that I’ve discovered it thanks to the digital world. Here on the web there are so many recipes but this one that I use I think its the easiest one.

In case you feel confident and would love to try a more complicated one you can fine a good one here.
